After pretty much trying to replace all refined sugars out of my diet, I have come to the place where if I do eat regular sugar processed foods, it often is sickening sweet. That was the case with store bought gello which has 19 grams of sugar in it and the #1 ingredient above all others in the commercial stuff. Outside of its sickening sweetness, I knew gello was what my system needed at that time. What to do?
I decided to make my own minus most of the sugar, and it turned out superbly:
Knox unflavored gelatin, amazon 1 lb for around $15.
100% fruit juice of your choice, unsweetened.
Allulose sugar, if one feels it is needed.
---------
2 cups of boiling water
2 tablespoons of Knox unflavored mixed in
1 jigger of lemon juice
1/2 tsp of allulose if needed
2 cups of fruit juice, I like Welsh 100% grape juice.
Heat and mix 2 cups of water with 2 tbs of knox,
Add lemon juice and allulose,
Add 2 cups of cold grape juice.
refrigerate
