A rare condition, but here is a testimony of MMS (sodium chlorite), in this case, in the form of CDS (chlorine Dioxide Solution) helping two cases:

Quote:
My daughter has two mares who have had difficulty getting in foal.

One is an aged girl that has been under the care of specialist equine reproduction vets for two years. She has endometritis and has a huge inflammatory response in her uterus when she is bred with associated infections. She has had very intensive treatment but was still unable to conceive.

The other mare is quite young and also had an inflammatory response after service.

I asked my daughter if I could try an experiment and she was happy to allow this as conventional treatment had failed.

6 hours after the older mare was bred my husband and I flushed her with 1 liter of physiological saline as is standard practice in these cases and the saline that was flushed out had some debris in it. I then flushed her with another liter but this time added 5 mls of CDS and 250 mls of freshly brewed white willow bark tea to counteract the inflammation. We left this in for 10 minutes before draining the fluid out again. This time, the flush was full of floating debris including tiny clusters of pinkish cells - most likely the problem endometrial cells.

I also treated the young mare in the same fashion.

Today, the vet came to perform ultrasounds on the mares. The old mare is 60 days in foal with "outstanding uterine tone" The younger mare was bred on Sunday, she has ovulated and there is no sign of any fluid or inflammation in the uterus with again the comment on how healthy the uterus appeared on the ultrasound.

2nd mare now in foal - again only one treatment required

MMS, CDS and its use can be found on my website and in other places in this forum.
