I thought I would post an interesting experience with my bull terrier of late. She is 12 years old and about 7 days ago; she immediately went off her feed and became very lethargic. I knew she was not right by a long shot! She just continued to deteriorate over the next 6 days with no interest in food, very droopy, weak. She would sleep all the time and she begin to lose bladder function around day 6. She really begin drinking abnormal amounts of water around day 6, too. Of course, I immediately suspected canine diabetes when that happened, plus both her eye lens became milky white--another sign of impending diabetes. It was obvious she was on death's door-step to me.
For whatever reasons, I happen to think of a sodium chlorite remedy that i had stored in my medicine closet. It is commonly called "MMS" online or "miracle mineral supplement"---I know, a very cheesy name, but there is a reason for this name (FDA, of course)! It was discovered by a man named Jim Humble and there are tons about it on his website and elsewhere online. Basically, he was a geologist prospecting for gold in a South American jungle ten or so years ago when some of his men came down with malaria. Being so far from civilization and medical assistance, he decided in a random moment to give his men some water purification drops that are commonly used to purify contaminated jungle water. It was all he had in his supplies. The commercial product is known as "Stabilized Oxygen" though in reality, it was a weak solution of sodium chlorite designed to rid jungle water of pathogens and parasites. He found that within about 4 hours, his men came out of their malaria misery and that amazed everyone. Since then, he has done continual work and research on sodium chlorite as a medicinal remedy. That is the background to my story.
I started my dog on 2 drops of his MMS solution and within 20 hours, she was eating again and her milky white lens disappeared back to a nice dark clear eye. She is more active now and seems to be drinking less water on day 3 of my treatment protocol. I am impressed! I don't know how it will all turn out, but I would have sworn my old dog would not improve under any circumstance. I was doing some online research about MMS (sodium chlorite) and diabetes and find that Humble writes that in many cases when he treated diabetic patients for other reasons, their diabetes spontaneously improved or disappeared. I said to myself, Ahaaaaaaa! Maybe there is some logic in my dog benefiting from sodium chlorite? I tend to suspect that diabetes is mainly a pathogen induced syndrome that is aggravated by diet. If my screwy idea is correct, another reason why a remedy like MMS would help diabetes.
Interesting stuff, eh?
